  • Mail Services

    The Mail Services hours will be from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. You may head to the Mail Services during those times to pick up packages or mail. The Mail Services will be closed November 28 and November 29th.

  • Guest Policy

    You are welcome to have guests in your residence hall during November Break as long as you follow the guest policy found in the MHC Residential Life Community Standards:

    • Your guests must be pre-registered by the host (you!) before they arrive. The host must submit the Guest Registration Form. PW: MHC Founding YearYou will not need to wait for any response or take any additional steps once you complete the form. Fill out and submit the form and then your guest(s) are welcome to join you.

  • Counseling  Services

    The Counseling Service will close Tuesday, November 26 at 4:30 PM. The Counseling Service will reopen on Monday, December 2 at 8:30 AM for Open Access scheduling.

    For urgent mental health needs when the Counseling Service is closed:

    • Students and concerned community members can consult with an offsite clinician from the 24/7 Crisis Line. Call 413-538-2037 and follow the prompts for urgent evaluation and support in planning next steps.
    • You may also call Public Safety and Service directly at 413-538-2304 to request emergency assistance or to be connected with MHC Professional Staff On Call.
    • You may go to the nearest emergency room (Holyoke Medical Center is closest to Mount Holyoke College).

    Health Services will be closed as of noon (12pm) on November 27 and will not reopen for clinical services until December 2. When Health Services is closed, an on-call service is available for urgent medical concerns. Call 413-538-2121 and follow the prompts. Options for local health care needs include:

  • LITS

    LITS Services/Williston Library will be available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 26 and 8:30am -5:00 p.m. on November 27; closed November 28 - November 30. Available 6:00 pm - 2:00 am on December 1. Regular hours resume on November 27. More information can be found on the LITS Hours Page.

    More information about events during the break will be emailed directly to registered students. Events are only available to registered students.

    • Movie Tickets: You can purchase movie tickets for Tower Theaters for just $5 from the Residence Life office in Safford rm. 1 (Garden Level/basement) between 9 am - 4 pm on Tuesday, November 26, 2024. During November Break, they will also throw in a free small popcorn! Students may only purchase one ticket for themselves, and they may not purchase tickets for a friend. The student purchasing the ticket must have registered for a break by the deadline (11:55 pm on Friday, November 21st). Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a limited number of tickets available.Thursday 11/28: ISOC Friendsgiving from 5:30 - 8:30 pm in the Great Room; join the International Students Organizing Committee (ISOC) on Thursday, November 23rd, to celebrate, give thanks, and spend time with friends during the holiday. It'll be a night of fun, games, delicious food from all around the world, and Karaoke! Open to all students! Make sure to RSVP on Embark!
