Summer 2026

This page is currently being revised. Please check back periodically for the most current information.

  • Apply for Summer Housing

The 2026 summer housing application is now available in my.mtholyoke. Summer housing is available from May 31, 2026 through August 22, 2026. The deadline to apply is April 21, 2026. A limited number of residence hall rooms are available on campus each summer; priority is given to MHC students working on campus, doing research with a MHC faculty member on campus or International students.

  • Summer On-Campus Housing Assistance Application

Students seeking financial assistance for on-campus summer housing must submit the Summer Housing Assistance application by Fri, April 24, 2026. Applications will be reviewed, and funding will be applied directly to the student’s account based on demonstrated need as determined by the financial aid application materials collected by Student Financial Services. Applicants will be notified of their decision by Tues, May 5, 2026.

Please note that if a student receives Mount Holyoke–administered research grant funding designated to support summer housing costs, eligibility for summer housing assistance may be reduced or eliminated. These funds are separate from Lynk funding, which will not be considered in determining summer housing assistance eligibility.

For non-housing-related expenses, the Safety Net Fund will open for a two-week period sometime in April/May and will be available specifically to approved summer on-campus housing residents for non-housing related items.

  • Residence Housing Contract

For those staying on campus over the summer, the Summer 2026 Housing Contract will be available in Residence beginning June 1. The contract must be signed by June 8, 2026.

  • Cleaning Supplies

There are trash bags, brooms and dustpans in the student housekeeping closets and disinfectant spray, towels and buckets in the kitchenette for students to use during the summer.

  • Departing from a Room

Whether moving from Reunion to Summer housing or into a Fall assignment, please leave your room empty, clean, and closed. Here's a checklist:

    • Remove stickers, tape and adhesives from all surfaces.
    • Remove belongings and trash from your space. Put trash in the trash can, cardboard in recycling, and usable items in the Free Bin
    • Close and secure your space by locking windows, pulling down shades, and locking the door.
    • Clean the room and suite/apartment (including bathroom toilets, showers, sinks and fixtures). Sweep or vacuum as needed. Do not sweep out into the hallway.
    • Return your room key to the Information Desk in Blanchard Hall.
    • Do NOT leave your keys in your room, under an RF/RA's door, with another student, or with Public Safety & Service. If your keys are lost or otherwise not properly returned, we will change your locks and there will be a charge of at least $75.
