If you have not done so already, please register to stay on campus during  November Break. You can register by logging in to my.mtholyoke under the Self-Service Menu. Your registration must be completed by November 17, 2023.

  • Meals

    November 20: Last day of M&C's

    November 21: Last day of Kendade Grab n Go

    • Frances Perk closes at 2:00pm
    • Dining Commons closes at 8:00pm

    November 22:

    • Breakfast 7:15 am - 9:00am
    • Lunch 11:30 am -1:30 pm

    November 23:

  • Mail & Copy Center

    The Mail & Copy Center hours will be from 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. You may head to the Mail & Copy Center during those times to pick up packages or mail. The Mail & Copy Center will be closed November 23 and November 24th.

  • Guest Policy

    You are welcome to have guests in your residence hall during November Break  as long as you follow the guest policy found in the MHC Residential Life Community Standards:

    • Your guests must be pre-registered by the host (you!) before they arrive. The host must submit the Guest Registration Form.
    • You will not need to wait for any response or take any additional steps once you complete the form. Fill out and submit the form and then your guest(s) are welcome to join you.
    • Please make sure you have fully read the guest policy and reach out when you have questions – res-life@mtholyoke.edu.
  • Counseling  Services

    The Counseling Service will be closed  Wednesday, November 22 at noon (12:00 PM). Open-access scheduling will resume on Monday, November 27.

    • For urgent mental health needs:
      • Call the Counseling Service and request to speak with the urgent care clinician.
      • For emergency support when the clinic is closed, students and concerned community members can consult with an offsite clinician from the 24/7 Crisis Line. Call 413-538-2037 and follow the prompts for urgent evaluation and support in planning next step.

    You may also call Public Safety and Service directly at 413-538-2304 or go to the nearest emergency room(Holyoke Medical Center is closest to Mount Holyoke College). Other sources of support include:

    • The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255 (En Español 1-888-628-9454; Options for Deaf and Hard of Hearing 1-800-799-4889)
    • ULifeline - online resource center for information regarding emotional health

    Health Services will be closed as of noon (12pm) on November 22, 2023, and will not reopen for clinical services until November 27, 2023. Options for local health care needs include:

  • LITS

    LITS Services/Williston Library will be available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on November 21 and 8:30am -5:00 p.m. on November 22; closed November 23 - November 25.  Available 6:00 pm - 2:00 am on November 26.   • Shuttles to Airport

    There will be Airport Shuttles to Bradley International Airport as follows:

    • Tuesday, 11/21departing MHC at 1:30pm
    • Tuesday, 11/21 departing MHC at 4pm
    • Wednesday ,11/22 departing MHC at 6am

  • Sports & Recreation

    Kendall Building/Fitness Center Hours

    • Tuesday, 11/21, open 6:30am-6pm; Open Swim 11:30am-1:00pm only
    • Wednesday, 11/22, open 6:30am-6pm; No Open Swim
    • Thursday, 11/23-Sunday, 11/26- CLOSED
    • Regular hours resume Monday, 11/27
  • Events

    More information about events during the break will be emailed directly to registered students. Events are only available to registered students. 

    Movie Tickets: You can purchase a movie tickets for Tower Theaters for just $5.00 from the Division of Student Life Suite in 205 Blanchard 9am - 4pm on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Tickets are first come, first serve. Students may only purchase ONE ticket for themselves, and they may not purchase tickets for a friend.

    • Thursday 11/23: ISOC Friendsgiving from 5:30 - 8:30pm in the Great Room
      • Join the International Students Organizing Committee (ISOC) on Thursday, November 23rd, to celebrate, give thanks, and spend time with friends during the holiday. It'll be a night of fun, games, delicious food from all around the world, and Karaoke! Open to all students! Make sure to RSVP on Embark!
    • Friday 11/24: DIY Jar Lanterns and Hot Cocoa from 6 - 8pm Blanchard
      • The nights are getting longer, so why not make your own DIY Mason Jar Lantern, to bring some light back in your nights. While you paint and decorate your jars a delicious Hot Cocoa will be provided!
    • Saturday 11/25: Cozy Movie Night from 7:00 - 10:00pm in the Abbey Hall Lounge
      • Missing October spooky season? Then come down to Abbey Hall to enjoy a scary movie in the cozy lounge of Abbey Hall
