Cohort Advising

In Fall 2024 we developed a new cohort advising model for all Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) and Interest Groups. An advising cohort is a group of student organizations that share common missions and interests. Through workshops and social opportunities, groups will have the chance to share and learn from one another as they discuss their group's culture, operations, challenges, and successes. Cohort advising will enable us to provide:

  • Enhanced support and group development
  • Leadership development opportunities
  • Skill-building toolkit for group officers
  • Targeted training
  • Building connections within and between groups

In Fall 2025 we are excited to announce our new Spark & Lead Workshop Series! Cohorts will have targeted opportunities each semester, though all sessions and workshops are open to everyone.
