Fire Pit Reservation Request For Individuals

This form is for use by individual MHC students who are requesting to reserve the fire pit for a private gathering, such as a birthday celebration.

This form is not for student organizations, whether for private or public gatherings. Student organizations must submit their request to reserve the fire pit through EMS.

Fire Pit Reservation Process For Individuals

  1. Complete this form in its entirety at least 7 days before you intend to hold your gathering.
  2. If the requested date/time of your private fire pit gathering is available, an Office of Student Involvement staff member will submit an EMS request for the fire pit on your behalf.
  3. The reservation confirmation will be sent to you once Event Services approves the request in EMS.
  4. Pick up the fire safety kit from the Information Desk right before your gathering.
  5. Return the fire safety kit to the Information Desk immediatly after your gathering.

Policies

  • This form must be submitted at least 7 days before you intend to hold your gathering.
  • You may not advertise your fire pit gathering to the community because reservations by individuals are considered private/invite-only.
  • You must pick up the fire safety kit right before your gathering, observe all fire safety protocols during your gathering, and then return the fire safety kit to the Information Desk immediately after the gathering ends.
  • The Information Desk staff will have you review and sign the Fire Pit Usage Agreement and Fire Permit before you take the fire safety kit.
  • Failure to follow these policies and procedures may result in your privilege to reserve the fire pit as an individual being revoked and/or you being fined for any damages to the fire pit equipment.
