About Us

The First-Generation and Low-Income Partnership, lovingly referred to as FLIP, exists to provide community, advocacy, and resources for First-Generation and/or Low-Income Students as we navigate the college experience within an institution that is traditionally affluent and built on legacy. We welcome all students who self-identify with either or both of these identities. Come by a meeting or event, or send us an email and connect with us! We're happy to help support you!

Feel free to explore this website for resources, information on being FGLI, helpful links, articles, and more!

Members Benefits

Through FLIP, members can become a part of a collaborative and supportive community of other First-Generation and Low-Income students, faculty, and administrators. Members can attend events that aim to inform the community of the resources that exist that can help FGLI students navigate success, accessibility, and personal wellbeing throughout their time at Mount Holyoke and beyond. FLIP can also provide quick responses to FGLI students' questions or concerns as well as share and circulate information on research, internship, and job opportunities.
