Our Services

Here at Mount Holyoke College Health Services, we aim to be the medical home away from home for all our students and to promote community wellness and health equity for our campus community.

We provide a full range of primary care services, ranging from sprained ankles, UTIs, and stomach bugs, to chronic conditions, mental health prescribing, and gender affirming care. We offer sexual health services, including contraception, menstrual management, STI testing and treatment, pregnancy testing and triage. We have face-to-face appointments with our PCP team, offer clinical advice over the phone, administer immunizations and do lab work, run afternoon urgent care clinics, STI screening clinics, and more.

There is no copay or charge for appointments with our nurses and providers. Here is more information about fees, coverage, and the Student Health Insurance Plan.

We practice using a continuity model; each student is assigned an MHC PCP – primary campus provider. While the College requires all students to carry health insurance, there is no “health fee.” All current MHC students are eligible to use Health Services regardless of insurance carrier.

All clinical visits are by appointment only. We do not accept walk-ins. If you feel unwell and think you need an “urgent care” visit, please schedule an urgent care appointment on MyHealthConnection, or phone and ask to speak with our triage team.
