Religious Accommodations

Although we are a secular institution, the College values students who sincerely claim their religious and spiritual identities and seek to observe and practice their religious and spiritual traditions during your time with us. We acknowledge and embrace religious identity as part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

It is our goal to not only comply with the religious accommodation statute, Title XXI Chapter151C Section2B of the General Laws of Massachusetts, but to assure that our students who uphold a sincerely held religious and/or spiritual belief feel a sense of belonging within our community.

How To Request A Religious Accommodation

Students who would like to request a religious accommodation should complete the online Religious Accommodation Form  preferably before the last day to add a course.

  • Fall 2024:  Tuesday, September 17
  • Spring 2025: Monday, February 10

The Office of Community and Belonging will act as a liaison between the students and faculty on the religious accommodations process by:

  • Communicating with the faculty regarding all religous accommodation request submitted.
  • Notifying the student of the accommodation request results and communicate with the student if additional information is needed.
