Religious Accommodations

Although we are a secular institution, the College values students who sincerely claim their religious and spiritual identities and seek to observe and practice their religious and spiritual traditions during your time with us. We acknowledge and embrace religious identity as part of our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.

It is our goal to not only comply with the religious accommodation statute, Title XXI Chapter151C Section2B of the General Laws of Massachusetts, but to assure that our students who uphold a sincerely held religious and/or spiritual belief feel a sense of belonging within our community.

How To Request A Religious Accommodation

Students who would like to request a religious accommodation should complete the online Religious Accommodation Form  preferably before the last day to add a course.

  • Fall 2026:  Tuesday, September 15
  • Spring 2027: Monday, February 8

The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs will act as a liaison between the students and other College employees and offices on the religious accommodations process by:

  • Communicating with the appropriate individuals and or offices regarding all religious accommodation request submitted.
  • Engaging with the student on the accommodation request including outcome and ongoing communicate with the student if additional information is needed and or further discussion of implementation.
