Dean of Students Conference Fund

For expenses associated with the cost of registration fees and/or travel expenses related to attending or presenting at academic conferences or workshops, participating in off-campus research, or engaging in service learning related to your academic program or purpose. Funding is not guaranteed. Application must be submitted at least 3 weeks prior to anticipated project. Cannot be used for internship or study abroad. Max $600 per academic year.

McCulloch Center for Global Initiatives Grant Fund
|
To provide support for student conference presentations on international issues. Student must be enrolled at the time of conference presentation. Students must submit a reflective essay (2-3 pages) within two weeks after returning from the conference. For research, projects, trips to conduct research, registration fees for conferences, travel to present research findings, and other activities for students conducting multi-disciplinary research that bridges disciplines in any combination of fields. For more information.

Hedley Donovan Endowed Fund
|
This fund provides support including, but not limited to travel, materials and other expenses for students who have completed preliminary independent study/research and who propose a capstone project including, but not limited to, a senior thesis or further advanced research. First preference will be given to students majoring or minoring in economics, next to students majoring or minoring in history, and last to students majoring or minoring in politics. Jean Sudrann ’39 Research Grant Fund

Support for research and special projects in the Department of English. Open to all students; not limited to English majors. Can be used for travel, conference participation, accommodations, workshops and more.

The application process consists of a one or two paragraph research plan that describes your project, travel plans, etc and a simple budget that outlines how the funds will be used. Applications should be emailed to english@mtholyoke.edu

Karen Snyder Sullivan Travel Fund

The Karen Snyder Sullivan Memorial Travel Award was established in 1986 by Karen's husband, Craig, to provide an opportunity for students like Karen to begin their own voyage of discovery. For more details about the fund.

Help with covering the cost of Physical Education Riding Class. Funding is not guaranteed and scholarship amounts do not cover full amount of the class. Amounts usually range from $25 to $175. Applications are emailed to all Physical Education Riding students, usually mid semester.
