Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® was founded on a mission comprised of five basic tenets that have remained unchanged since the sorority’s inception more than a century ago. The Mount Holyoke College Red Cross Chapter is a non-profit working to provide a service to the community and to spread awareness on campus. Thus allowing the students not only to participate in Red Cross events, but also work alongside the Red Cross. The chapter not only recognizes the need for the presence of the Red Cross, but also to advocate the need of blood drives to the local community through on-campus community service events.

The Mount Holyoke College Chapter of Amnesty International aims to spread awareness about human rights violations. We also seek to bring an end to these abuses through petitions, letter writing, and attending protests. Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 3 million supporters, members and activists in more than 150 countries and territories who campaign to end grave abuses of human rights. Our vision is for every person to enjoy all the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and other international human rights standards.

Founded in 1992, Asian/American Students in Action is a political organization and support community at Mount Holyoke College founded to address Asians in America. Beyond our diasporic Asian identities, we affirm all our liberations are connected and welcome all BIPOC and non-BIPOC accomplices to join our work as we create spaces for political education and advocacy. We stand in solidarity with BIPOC communities facing systemic injustice from race, gender, ableism, capitalism, and imperialism through an intersectional and abolitionist approach.

The Athlete Empowerment Coalition strives to provide a safe space for Mount Holyoke Student-Athletes of color and First-Generation Student-Athletes to get to know one another and become better connected to the greater Mount Holyoke community; to provide these student-athletes, who are often the only student-athlete of color or first generation student-athlete on their team, with a community brought together by a shared love of sports; to help Student-Athletes navigate the resources available on campus; to work with the athletics department to ensure equity on all levels of athletics; and to uphold Mount Holyoke College's mission to bring together students from all backgrounds to form an inclusive community.

Our ongoing mission: to provide a forum for all who wish to participate in the discussion of science fiction, fantasy, anime, comics, and similar media; to promote the exploration of such subjects and examine them from within a feminist framework; to provide a safe space for fans of all kinds to enjoy what they love; to support, maintain, and expand a library of speculative fiction; and to boldly go where no org has gone before!

Bellatrix is Mount Holyoke’s Science Fiction, Fantasy, Anime, Manga, and Comic Book Club--only referred to as such occasionally, as that is too much to say very often.

The Mount Holyoke Catholic Community was founded to enrich the quality of Catholic life on the campus. We hope to create a vibrant spiritual environment in which members of the Catholic college community and all others who are interested may explore and deepen their relationship with God and with others through weekly celebration of the Eucharist, together with other spiritual, educational, social, and community service activities. The community provides opportunities for an International Mass where we celebrate all cultures around the world, a fall food drive, a joyous Christmas party, Lenten reflections, an annual retreat, and other spontaneous and fun events which help to build friendships and strengthen our bonds with one another.
