About Us

Transfer community residents are committed to developing peer network and support environment that brings together students who arrive at Mount Holyoke College with valuable college and life experiences. Though they may come from a variety of different backgrounds transfers bring a unique perspective to their Mount Holyoke College journey. Throughout the year, activities, events, and programs designed in collaboration with community members will assist transfer students in navigating Mount Holyoke. Our Sophomore Experience LLC is a community that is designed to support students entering their second year at the college and keep them connected to the college. Students are offered academic, leadership and social opportunities that help them maintain meaningful connections to the college community and solidify their place at Mount Holyoke. Sophomores face many unique challenges, still acclimating to the college, making social connections, and starting to take their place as leaders within the college. This LLC will help students face those challenges and opportunities together.
