About Us

STEMPOC is an organization that seeks to center the voices and lived experiences of students of color who are interested in a career in STEM. We hope to provide resources and support for students of color through: -Mentorship -Networking and Professional Development (Cultural and social capital) -Community Support and Safe Spaces -Advocacy and accountability STEMPOC will be a family that is open to anyone that is passionate about issues of access and equity. As a group, STEMPOC does not have a solidified definition of people of color because we're aware of the complexities of ethnic identities and cultural associations.
