Hello everyone,
Please see below for an important reminder about following the Community Compact - including wearing your facial covering and maintaining physical distance - along with information about campus printing during the campus quarantine and a note from Dining Services.
As a resource, we encourage you to bookmark the Residential Life news page in Embark which will hold an archive of all direct emails to residential students this semester. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me know, be in touch with our Residential Life office staff (res-life@mtholyoke.edu), or connect to your Community Advisor or Residential Fellow.
Our email next Tuesday will include more information about what to expect come February 1st when campus quarantine ends - what buildings will be open to students, what community programming will be offered, more about traditions (like M&Cs)!
Reminder: Community Compact
All students on campus have agreed to the Community Compact and attended one of the Community Compact orientation sessions and completed the quiz, but we wanted to send some reminders as you all adapt to being back on campus and start to create your new routines.
Face masks must be worn anytime you leave your room. Even if just stepping down the hall to the kitchenette or the bathroom. Please ensure your face mask always covers your nose and mouth. Face masks must also be worn when outside as well.
Ensure you are practicing physical distancing and maintaining at least six feet distance between you and other people on campus. Please take note of this when in the Dining Commons and even outside.
Please don’t forget to wear your lanyard anytime you are walking around campus.
Campus Printing
While in campus quarantine, until Monday, February 1st, you can request printing via the Auxiliary Services Print Request Form. The Print Request Form is two pages:
-
The first page: Name, email, etc.
-
Second page: Department: Student; Budget number: Student - LITS; File Name etc.
-
Once you're past the *Required Fields, scroll to the bottom of the form and click Submit
Details for pick up:
-
Auxiliary Services is open Monday-Friday from 9:00-5pm for job pickup.
-
LITS will cover the cost of printing during this timeframe.
-
There is NO general access to pickup, you must wait for an email confirmation before going to Auxiliary Services to pick up your printing.
Starting Monday, February 1st MFD printers will again be available in Blanchard Hall (the Community Center next to the Information Desk on the mid-level, and on the UpperLevel towards the front of the building), with additional MFD access in the Auxiliary Services 24 hour space, Ciruti Hall (lower level), and the LITS Information Commons.
To print from your computer, please visit LITS Mobility Print . You will be adding the LITS-Public-Cloud printing queue to your computer. All the details on how to print and where to find the MFDs are on the webpage.
