For the final instalment of our fall film series, we celebrate the winter season with the 1952 film The Snow Maiden (ðíð¢ðÁð│ÐâÐÇð¥Ðçð║ð░). Our heroine, Snegurochka, is the daughter of two mythical beings, a spring fairy and the King of Winter. Her frozen heart prevents her from experiencing love until she goes to live in a human village. The film is in Russian with English subtitles.
