Flyer for Screening on Campus: FACMAN on Film
Join us for a community screening of "FACMAN on Film," a collaborative documentary (visual ethnography) highlighting the daily operations of the dedicated facilities management workers at Mount Holyoke College. Led by Xinran Li (23') majored in Anthropology and minored in Film Studies, the 45-minute documentary is a collective effort of 2 housekeepers, 4 custodians, and 2 groundskeepers, offering a unique glimpse into their day-to-day work. Following the screening, engage in a post-discussion session to explore workforce dynamics and potential improvements. Conclude the evening with a reception in the Sociology & Anthropology Department Lounge (Porter Hall) for further conversation and connection.Event Schedule:
