RSOs: Re-Recognition Information

Hello Org and Interest Group Leaders,

We are reaching out today from the Office of Student Involvement to flag some important upcoming dates and information for student organizations. Please read the entire email, as it contains information about Re-Recognition.  

IMPORTANT DATES

April 1st, 6pm, Blanchard 304 - Elections & Re-Recognition Workshop with the Student Involvement Consultants

April 7th, 12pm, Blanchard 304 - Elections & Re-Recognition Workshop with the Student Involvement Consultants

April 12th, 1pm - Ways & Means 2026 Fall Semester & September Funding Deadlines.  

April 21st, 6pm - New Officer Bootcamp Workshop with the Student Involvement Consultants

April 21st, 10pm - last day to submit an ERF for the semester

April 22nd,10am - Registration Form for the Re-Recognition process opens

May 6 - Mandatory audits with the SGA Business Office

 

Officer Transition

Please consider completing elections and officer transition before the Registration Form for Re-Recognition opens on April 22nd. You must add your new officers to your Embark group’s Registration Form so that your incoming officers receive important information about Re-Recognition, training, funding, the Involvement Fair, and more. Please refer to our RSO Officer Transition Checklist for guidance.

Re-Recognition

The Re-Recognition process kicks off on April 22nd. At that time the Registration form for next year will open in Embark - please plan to complete the Registration Form with new officer information before leaving campus. Starting on April 22nd you will not be able to access your group’s functionality within Embark until the form is completed - including payments and reimbursements - so make sure that you complete the form promptly. 

We will communicate additional details in a couple of weeks.
