Batik Workshop MWCE

MWCE invites you all to the MWCE Batik Workshop on April 15th outside the Fimbel Maker & Innovation Lab! Immerse yourself in a dynamic blend of art, environmentalism, and community engagement. You will have the opportunity to use organic dyes to print various patterns and designs from various cultures and we are dedicated to foster equity. This workshop aims at refurbishing materials like totes and old clothes to promote sustainability, in conjunction with using organic plant dyes, adinkra, and Pakistani stamps. Whether you're an experienced artist or just starting out, join us in creating a space that honors diversity and fosters collaboration. Don't miss out on this exciting event hosted by the MWCE.

BYO clothes and items you would like to upcycle! We will have some tote bags and items but we would love to give new life to your items as well!
