Come to Chapin Auditorium (Mary Woolley Hall) for an afternoon of fabulous dancing to live music! No experience required and all abilities welcome! Drop by simply to listen to the fabulous music or to join in the workshop at 2:30 pm. Bring closed-toe shoes for dancing and a water bottle. Masks strongly encouraged, as well as fun, flowing clothing for dancing!

Never heard of contra dancing? It's a style of American folk dance typically done with a partner, similar to square dancing or English Country Dancing. The event will open with a workshop for beginners, and all the dances throughout the performance will have walkthroughs and continuous instruction. You don't need a partner to attend- just show up! Come on time to be sure you get a grasp of the basics.
