The film made its broadcast premiere on the PBS series, “America ReFramed” and received a 2022 Telly Award. Before entering the film world, Lam carved out a distinguished career in music releasing four critically acclaimed solo albums. Her song, “I Feel Alive” won the Hollywood Music in Media Award for “Best Dance Song."
(Impact Producer) Rosemary Smith and her husband, Kent built Eagle Radio Group group from the ground up, including radio towers, buildings and talent. In 2018, the Smiths sold their radio stations, relocating to Montana to be closer to their 4 adult children. Rosemary became Managing Director for the Getting Better Foundation and Impact Producer for their film Trust Me, which explores why humankind is attracted to stories about violence, how media outlets capitalize on that, and how we gather and share information and misinformation in the digital age.
(Chair of Steering Committee) Ellen Brodsky began filmmaking after a twelve-year career in education and public health. She has been directing award-winning short and feature-length documentaries for the past 20 years. The Year We Thought About Love and 25 Texans in the Land of Lincoln are distributed with New Day Films. Her work has been seen in over 70 festivals, conferences, and school settings around the world.
