About Us

The purpose of MHC AWM shall be to promote the professional development of women interested in mathematical sciences at Mount Holyoke College and connect them to the larger mathematical community in the United States and worldwide. MHC AWM also organizes mentorship programs, professional development workshops, speaker series, and networking events on campus. MHC AWM adheres to the guidelines and responsibilities set by the AWM Committee on Student Chapters, including annual reporting to the National AWM, participation in National AWM initiatives, and alignment with AWM’s mission and broader goals of supporting and advancing equity for women in mathematics.
