Sign up to be a Big!!
After much success last year, we are continuing the MHOC Bigs and Littles tradition. This brought our club closer together (even virtually), helped to bridge the gap between upperclassmen and new students, and increased the number of interested leaders and members we have this year. Please consider signing up to be a Big this year if you would like to help give a warm welcome to this year's new members, all Leaders and board members are welcome!! Responsibilities will include attending a Bigs and Littles event, texting/spending some time with your little, and leaving them gifts/notes. Fill out the survey linked here.
Board/Leader Trip 9/25 to 9/26-Respond ASAP!
We are planning a Board/Leader trip to Franconia Loop in the White Mountains September 25-26 (all day both days). Because we only have one fleet van available, we will not be taking it on this trip and instead leave it to board members and leaders who stay on campus to lead other trips. This means this trip will be a little more 'casual,' as we will be taking personal vehicles. A description of the hike is linked here, this hike is hard! If you are interested in coming, please fill out the survey linked here, first come first serve, and sign ups will close tomorrow at midnight. Because this is a more casual trip we will chipping in for gas and food ourselves, so plan to spend $20-$30 over the weekend (if this is an issue, please let us know and the club will cover the cost of the trip for you).
Lead Trips Next Week!
The weekend of 9/25 to 9/26 is the first weekend that we are able to lead trips!! We would really like to have a few that our members can attend! Please sign up to lead a trip if you are interested by putting your name in the fleet van registration, linked here, and sending Jess and Maddy a description of your trip. Vans are available :
Wednesday 9/22 all day
Saturday 9/25 all day
Sunday 9/26 all day

We are hoping that all of you lovely board members and Leaders are continuing to Lead this year! If this is the case, please fill out the survey linked here so we have an accurate count of all of our current leaders (this includes board members as well). Thanks!
Reminder to the Board: Sign up for Trainings!
As we discussed on Sunday, we must attend some trainings on Septmber 16th and September 19th in order to operate this year. These include 1) a travel training and 2) authorized signer training
The link to register for these trainings is here (16th and 19th), there is no limit to the number of board members that can sign up, so if you are interested in attending you are encouraged to do so!
You must only attend one of these trainings, not both, the two days will have the same sessions
See You Next Meeting!
Our next meeting will be Sunday, Septmber 19th at 7 pm in the South Delles common room. Frankie and Petra will be hosting a intro-to-leading/reminder on how to lead trips meeting. It would be great to have experienced leaders there to answer some of the questions that our new leaders might have. See you there!
