East Asian Studies. During the spring of 2025, I went abroad to Hong Kong and
enhanced my interest in how laws govern our everyday lives as well as how cities blend
nature with modernity. At Mount Holyoke, I am the chair of Cantonese Club, a student
fellow at the Weissman Center, and Residential Fellow of Pearsons Hall! I also am part of
the RA/RF union as a Union Steward, where I have been able to hone negotiation and
advocacy skills. This ultimately contributes to my desire to attend law school and
specialize in labor law or educational law. However, my experiences demonstrate an
interest in all sectors of law, as this summer I was a legal specialist contractor with
Dominion Energy in Richmond, Virginia, exploring environmental law and biometric data
privacy laws. Following my graduation in May, I hope to travel, work somewhere in the
legal field, and prepare to apply for law school. Outside of academic and campus
involvement, I can probably be found rock climbing, going on hikes, planning my next
travel adventure, or trying to find good matcha in Western Mass.
Event is held in Dwight 208, accessible by stairs or elevator.
