Details

Diana Perez is a Senior Weissman Fellow double majoring in Spanish and Politics. She is also pursuing a Five-College certificate in Latin American, Caribbean and Latino Studies. Come talk to Diana about the Harvard Legal Services Center Legal Internship, her work as an SLLAS Office Assistant, the Hope Scholars Program, Cultural Org Leadership, Public Interest Law, and so much more!!


Outside of the Weissman Center she is on the e-board of La Unidad. Diana is also one of the liaison's for the Department of Spanish, Latina/o and Latin American Studies. Back home in Kansas City, Diana has done work in community building. She spent the summer working as an Organizing Fellow for the social justice Kansas non-profit Loud Light. During which she connected with different Latine organizations in Kansas in order to see how to raise the number of Latine votes throughout the state. Diana worked on a campaign for congressional hopeful, Matt Kleinmann, where she was his social media manager and youth outreach liaison. She canvassed for him and learned on-hand skills on what community organizing can eventually lead to. Finally, Diana was part of the 2024 summer cohort of Hispanas For Political Equality (HOPE).
