Earth Day event poster. Flyer for UU Earth Day Picnic and Hike

Join the Unitarian Universalists to hike Bare Mountain and celebrate Earth Day! We will meet at the Blanchard bus stop at 12:45 PM and will return at 4 PM. Fruit and chips will be available for a mountaintop picnic. We hope to see you there! All are welcome, but registration is REQUIRED!
This event will be canceled in the case of bad weather. Our hiking path traverses rocky terrain and is quite steep. The ascent and descent each take about 30 minutes and totals about a mile of hiking. Bathrooms, water fountains, and seating are located at the base of the mountain. Participants should bring a water bottle and may want to bring a light outer layer. Food will be provided. Vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options are available.
