We hope you are doing well and staying warm as we welcome the first snow of the season!
We are inviting you all to a Bystander Intervention training, coupled with a Know Your Rights informational session, TODAY from 12 pm - 1 pm in the Great Room. Our speaker and facilitator will be Javier Luengo-Garrido.
In his role with the ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) of Massachusetts, Luengo-Garrido manages the Western Massachusetts IPP Call Center for immigrants and their families who need help navigating possible deportation proceedings. He coordinates pro bono bond representation, organizes immigration family law assistance, and advocates in local immigrant communities.
Please join us for this informational session about civil rights and immigration TODAY! PS: We will be handing out mini succulent plants at the beginning of the session, so please come!
Additionally, thank you ALL for filling out the 39E Experience Form! Now that we know what your experience has been like, we are asking for suggestions! We have the numbers, now we need the suggested times!!! Hence, please fill out this SUPER SHORT form indicating what additional times you’d want added to the 39E weekday and weekend routes.
Lastly, we hope you will join us on Saturday, December 6, from 6-8 pm in Blanchard 318 for a Letters of Love letter-writing event co-hosted by the Class of 2026! We will be writing little sunshine letters to the children in the Pediatric Unit at Baystate Health in Springfield, MA! There’ll be Hot cocoa and Tate’s Cookies :)
