This webpage documents policies outlined based on Health & Safety needs that will supersede any policies or procedures outlined in the student handbook or other residential life policies. Any modifications to policies will be emailed to those students in housing.
Residence Housing Contract
The Summer 2022 Housing Contract is available in Residence. The contract must be signed by May 29, 2022.
Summer Community Compact
All students must agree to all the terms of the Community Compact. This compact goes into effect on May 29, 2022. You can agree to the terms of the Community Compact by completing this Summer Community Compact Consent Form no later than 4:00pm on Friday, May 27, 2022. Students are expected to know and follow all of the expectations outlined in the compact. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in removal from summer housing.
Guest Policy
There are no guests in the residence halls this summer. Students may have no more than two family or friends to help them move into their summer housing assignment during a two-hour window. All guests who are helping during this time must be vaccinated or have received a negative test within the last 72 hours. While in the residence halls, face coverings must be worn by helpers.
Residence halls are open only to provide living space for students registered for Summer Housing. Non-Mount Holyoke College students and Mount Holyoke College students not registered for summer housing are not permitted as guests in the halls. Residents may not sublet or increase the occupancy of the room.
