Plants need good homes!

The Botanic Garden's decades-long tradition of giving a plant to every new student is our way of saying "welcome to MHC." Botanic Garden staff over the past several days were thrilled to continue this cherished tradition.

At this point, we have several hundred surplus plants and they are now being made available to any and all current MHC students. The plants are on tables under a tent outside the south end of the Botanic Garden's Talcott Greenhouse (that's the end closest to Art). The plants will be available on a first-come, first-served basis through Sunday, September 5. There are no specific hours when plants will be available so students are welcome to stop by anytime. Botanic Garden staff will not be on-hand so it is self-serve.
