Join Shani Mensing from the Fimbel Maker and Innovation Lab and staff from Archives & Special Collections and the Mount Holyoke College Art Museum as we take you step by step through how to make your own botanical or other creative cyanotype sun prints. Enjoy this beginner friendly, in-person project on the Skinner Green. This activity only takes approximately 15-20 minutes, so stop by anytime between 4:30-5:30 pm.

Students on Campus: we have created 100 kits. Each comes with 3 pieces of pre-treated sunprint paper, special instructions, and postcards of herbarium and cyanotype prints from Archives & Special Collections and colorful floral and botanical artwork from the Art Museum. Laser cut MHC symbols will be available from the Fimbel Lab, and botanical clippings will be provided by the Mount Holyoke College Botanic Garden (please refrain from picking flowers, leaves and stems from plants on campus!)

Remote Students: Here's what you'll need: sun print paper, leaves, flowers, rocks, or any fun small shapes to use for your sunprints. Use this link for instructions on how to make sun prints.
