Hello Org leaders!

The Re-Recognition process opens on Monday April 28th. Here is what you need to know.

Re-Recognition


Registration Form

This opens Monday! This form gives us the information we need, including your points of contact, so we can communicate more effectively and ultimately better support you. Please provide your information for next year. We need to communicate with the incoming leaders, not the leaders who are graduating next month! You will not be able to access Embark functions until this form has been submitted.


Instructions

Go into (manage) your group.

You will see a special blue banner on the top of your screen. Click on Group Re-Registration

You should be redirected to a new page where you will be able to modify your group's information.

Click on Next once you are done. You will be redirected to a confirmation page. Please make sure everything is correct. At the end of the confirmation page, you will find the Re-Registration Form. Complete it and click on "Submit" to finish your re-registration request.

Embark Closure

When the Re-Recognition process starts, most of the functionality in Embark will close until the group completes the Registration form, shown above. That means all groups (Student Organizations, Club Sports, and Interest Groups) will not be able to access their roster, emails, or websites - for Student Organizations and Club Sports that also means they will not be able to access events or accounting functions - including payments and reimbursements, which are due Friday, April 25th - until the form is completed. So make sure that you complete it promptly!

Reminders

Blanchard 108 Storage Clean-Up

There will be a clean-up day on May 7th - please RSVP at the link below. This is mandatory for groups with Blanchard 108 storage space, and there will be a student working to help answer questions and take attendance/inventory. If your group needs to schedule a different time, email the Involvement Consultants.  

If groups have items that exceed the 2 tote box limit, the items may be discarded. Unlabeled boxes may be discarded. Prohibited items will be discarded.

Fall Training

We will be tailoring some of our training modules to meet the needs of different groups. For example, RSOs that host concerts or conferences will have different training needs than RSOs that hold smaller-scale events. We will send out more information in the summer.
