Hello Org Leaders!
Call to Participate in Experience MHC!
Admitted students are invited to campus April 6-7th for Experience MHC, their preview weekend, where they will have an opportunity to explore academic and co-curricular opportunities on campus.
On Sunday, April 6th, 4:30-5:30 PM, new admits will be invited to a Resource Fair, which is where you come in! Orgs are invited to table, similar to the Involvement Fair, but due to the large number of guests, Orgs will table by cohort instead of individually. We’ll have one table set up for each cohort, staffed by 3-6 students from different Orgs so our new admits will get a sense of how they can get involved on campus. This is also a fantastic opportunity to recruit new members!
If you are interested and can commit to tabling that day, please complete this form. We would like to feature as many Orgs as possible and may not be able to accommodate all interested. Please sign up by this Friday, March 28th.
So far the following groups have signed up: Biology Club, English Handbell Ensemble, La Unidad, Knit Happens, Sangre del Sol, Model United Nations, and the MHC Photography Club.
Send Us Your Photos!
The Division of Student Life is looking for student photos to feature in upcoming communications, marketing materials, and social media related to student engagement, including the upcoming resource fair at Experience MHC (the College’s admitted students day that’s happening April 6 and 7!). If your org has awesome pictures from events, activities, or student life moments, and you’re comfortable with them being used in publicly viewable ways, we’d love to include them! Please use this form.
Marketing your event
If your events aren’t appearing in Word Out! (the Sunday and Thursday events newsletter), make sure the visibility setting is set to “everyone” when submitting your event registration form in Embark. A reminder that only events that are open to all students, MHC community or the public should be included in Word Out. Group meetings and other events that are for members of your org or group only should not be included in Word Out.

The new digital signs are now accepting submissions! Please send your flyer in an image format (JPG or PNG), sized 1920 px high x 1080 px wide.
