Join Zehra Hazratji '05 for a conversation about the month of Ramadan that will be in its entirety during the academic year for the first time in many years. Zehra will reflect on the meaning of Ramadan for an individual journey as well as on the essentials of Ramadan for the community at large.

Zehra Hazratji

Zehra Hazratji is currently enrolled in a Mufti training program with the Egyptian Fatwa Council (Dar Al-Ifta Al-Missriyya). She earned a Masters in Islamic Studies with a specialization in Contemporary Fiqh from Hamad Bin Khalifa University, Qatar. She received her BA in Islamic Law from Al-Azhar University, Egypt as well as a BA in Islamic Studies from Mount Holyoke College. She has been an instructor at Mishkah University, USA since 2014. Zehra’s research interests include Islamic legal theory, contemporary fiqh issues, and matters related to women in Islam.
