MHC alum Quanita Hailey '14 leads this service. We will focus on a text of healing in the Bible, and offer a moment of lamentation for the non-beneficial ways that we have been programmed to view healing, and a release of those issues.

Quanita Hailey

Quanita Hailey is an alum of Mount Holyoke college and Union Theological Seminary where she received her Master of Divinity with a focus in Womanist Queer Ethics. She is the founder of the Women of Color Trailblazers Leadership Conference at Mount Holyoke College. Lovingly, nick-named Q, she serves as a current Association of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) Anton Boisen Scholar and a Full-time Staff Chaplain at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist hospital (NYPBMH). At Methodist, Q serves on several board committees including diversity, inclusion and belonging, the LGBTQ task force and the Pastoral Care committee.
