Join MISC and FAMILIA for brunch & discussion! We will be exploring the intersection and interaction of ethnic, racial, and queer identities.

This event will center around:
Sharing experiences of multiple identities and celebrating our diverse backgrounds
Challenging dominant ideas of race and sexuality
Exploring the fluidity of identity
Building a critical consciousness to better understand race, ethnicity, sexuality, gender, and social justice.

The event will be taking place in the Jeannette Marks community room. The event space is physically accessible. However, space is somewhat limited and could be difficult to navigate if crowded. Event environment is expected to include moderate noise levels due to conversation, moderate to bright lighting, and minimal to moderate crowd density. Event activities will mainly focus on conversation, responding to discussion questions, and other forms of socialization.

Food provided may contain gluten, dairy, and nuts. Gluten free options will be available.

Additional accommodations can be requested at miscmoho@gmail.com. We ask that requests for accommodations be made at least 48 hours in advance. We will do our best to implement all requests, but may not be able to if they are made after this time frame.
