Dear students,
We are writing to update you that tonight’s More than an Ally week keynote event - "The Origins of Mozone, The Legacy Lives On: A Panel Discussion," – is moving to Zoom, from 6:30-7:30 pm!
Join us as we celebrate 10 years of the Mozone Peer Education Program with a panel discussion featuring the original student founders, alums Courtney Brunson ’16 and Carly Basile ’16!
Their journey wasn't just about creating a program; it was about fostering a culture of social justice education. Through collaboration with administrators and faculty, they transformed ideas into action, setting the stage for meaningful change.
During this event, we'll delve into the roots of the MoZone program, exploring its profound impact on our community, its evolution, and its enduring legacy defined by empathy, understanding, and action. If you're unfamiliar with the program, this is the perfect opportunity to learn more and discover how you can also get involved!
We're excited to offer this event virtually and join in community together as we continue working toward progress.
Please use the Zoom link to join the event.
See you there!
Warmly,
Marcella and Latrina
