Dorothy E. Mosby is Interim Dean of Faculty and Vice President for Academic Affairs and Professor of Spanish and Latin American Studies at Mount Holyoke College, where she is also a member of the Africana Studies program.   In her work as a scholar, she specializes in the expression of ethnic, cultural, and national identity in texts by Central American writers of African descent, particularly those of Anglophone West Indian heritage.  She is the author of three books and her latest work is the translation of two novels, Quince Duncan’s Weathered Men and the Four Mirrors (Palgrave Macmillan 2018).
