Join us in welcoming back Chef and Alum Krysia Villon '96 for an event on Sunday, March 26th from 2pm-4pm at the Eliana Ortega Cultural Center. Chef Krysia will speak about her own personal and professional journey as an indigenous Latine chef, small bussiness owner, and food historian. She will be serving her Peruvian-style empanadas, chicha morada (purple corn drink), followed by dessert. Her presentation will include a food demonstration and tasting of a dessert also made with maiz morado, peruvian purple corn, called Mazamorra morada.
Food Provided (Homemade Peruvian-style empanadas, chicken, beef and sweet potato. A drink will also be served, chicha morada (purple corn drink) and dessert tasting which is mazamorra morada. )
