The Mount Holyoke College Student Government Association (SGA) was founded in 1898. Comprised of the Executive Board, Senate, and Committees, SGA strives to work toward the common goal of a positive, empowering, and transformative experience for each Mount Holyoke student by bringing student voices to administrators, faculty, and staff to create cohesion and address all issues pertaining to student life on campus.

The class boards are elected members of each class year, whose primary duties are to bring their class together by sponsoring activities that promote group cohesion and bonding. Each class board is responsible for carrying on some of the most important Mount Holyoke traditions.

Peer Health Educators are a peer education group dedicated to providing accurate health and wellness information, fostering open and safe environments, debunking assumptions, and reaching out to the diverse communities of MHC. The group’s goal is to help students develop the tools needed to make informed choices and to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. We actively engage and present information to students on a variety of wellness topics such as alcohol and other drugs, stress, sexual health, healthy relationships, body image/eating disorders, nutrition, healthy relationships and sleep. Peer Health Educators are student volunteers that are affiliated with the Be Well Program and supported by the Office of Residential Life. The Area Coordinator for Be Well and the Be Well Assistant acts as advisors to the group.

Mission
La Unidad is a space for Latinx students where we are able to embrace and celebrate Latinx culture. Members of La Unidad want to provide Latinx students an opportunity to develop the support systems necessary for a successful college experience. Being a minority on campus, we want to solidify the relationship amongst our Latinx peers in order to provide a stronger sense of community within our institution. By:

- Creating brave spaces to combat stereotypes that are perpetuated in everyday society and to unite all the students who identify as Latinx.
- Hosting different bonding events where we are able to establish relationships and to enhance our Latinx identity with our fellow Latinx students.
- Promoting our culture and traditions while serving our local and global communities in areas such as Holyoke and Springfield.
- Bringing awareness to campus about what is going on in the Latinx community currently through hosting events, such as Noche Latina.
- Providing a space for our peers, who identify as Latinx to have a voice on campus through sharing their ideas, opinions, and concerns about topics that are important to them.

Our Leadership LLC is a community within the First Year Experience Cohort where individuals at any point in their leadership development can come together to build and deepen their understanding and skills of what it means to be a leader. Leadership is a lifelong learning process, and whether participants have a lot of experience or not this community is a space where everyone can learn and gain insight on how leaders make a positive difference in their community, regardless of the title they hold.

MHACASA shall have the following purposes:
a) To be a support group for African and Caribbean Students in the Mount Holyoke College Community.
b) To sponsor activities that will bring African and Caribbean Culture to the Mount Holyoke College Community.
