Join Beth Rogan, RN, Associate Director of Outreach at William James College for a discussion on your career and educational options in psychology and behavioral health. Learn about the variety of clinical work in the mental and behavioral health fields. This program is for students of all majors who are interested in an overview and discussion on:
• First steps in choosing a career in psychology, counseling, and/or behavioral health
• Clinical mental health counseling and social work
• Various branches of psychology and behavioral health
• Level of training: Bachelor's vs Master’s or Doctoral degree
• Scope of practice and licensure
• PhD vs PsyD
• Field training, career setting, and specialties
• Preparing for graduate school
• Getting some answers about next steps in a career and/or graduate school
