About Us
The purpose of SWANACC is to provide a space for students of Southwest Asian/Middle Eastern and North African heritage to embrace and celebrate their culture and allow for students who aren’t apart of those communities to learn more about the rich traditions throughout the region through cultural themed events. We aim to foster and maintain a mutual understanding between our growing community and other cultural organizations on the Mount Holyoke Campus, and to educate the Mount Holyoke student body on the complexities of the various identities and cultures of the SWANA region.
