Important Notices: Testing will only be available on Tuesday, June 15, next week. Updates have been made to the Dining Commons. Please read below for more details.
Hello Summer Residents:
We hope your summer is going well and you are enjoying being on campus. We want to keep you updated about what is happening on campus and any important information you may need.
Testing Center:
Due to the Juneteenth holiday, the testing center will be closed next Friday, June 18, 2021. Due to this, all students will only be testing one day next week. This is a one week exception of our Summer Community Compact.
This means it is very important that everyone get tested on Tuesday, June 15 between 12:30pm and 4:30pm. Please use whatever tools will help you get to the testing center during this time. Some tips:
-
Make an appointment in your calendar.
-
Set an alarm on your phone as a reminder
-
Get a testing buddy so you can remind each other to go and walk over together.
Dining Updates:
-
Summer programs will start on campus June 20 and we wanted to note that more students will be using dining during this time.
-
Students who choose to eat in the Dining Commons should sit in the North Dining area which is located near the Breakfast all day station. This will be a student only space. The Club, Skinner, Oak, Beacon and Tranquility spaces will be reserved to each of the groups coming to campus.
-
Students will now have the option of using dishes and cups if they don't want to use the to-go containers. However, to-go is still available. All dishes need to be returned to the dish-return area.
-
Dining will be removing the floor arrows. While some of the flow may change, please continue to practice social distancing when getting your food.
-
Dining has added umbrellas to the patio for outdoor seating. Students can bring their dishes outside to eat if they would like to.
-
The beverage area and condiment station are now self-service.
-
The Wok station will open for dinner on July 10th through July 30th.
-
Breakfast is now available daily 7:30-9:00 for all students.
Travel outside the 25 mile limits.
We know that some students need to travel beyond the 25 mile travel limits for a variety of important reasons. We know that occasionally exceptions will need to be made. To request those exceptions, please use this form to submit your request. We will get back to you within 2-3 business days.
