We are excited to share information about spring break with you. Spring break is Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18.
Please note that all current residential students are welcome to stay on campus during spring break, but must register to be here – there is no additional cost for staying on campus for some or all of spring break. Residential students are also welcome to travel and leave campus during this week.
Required Spring Break Registration
We know some students are already planning for Spring Break. All students are welcome to stay on campus, but you MUST register. You can do this by logging onto my.mtholyoke and look for the registration form under requests and applications. This form is open now and is due by 11:59pm on Sunday, March 6, 2022.
COVID Asymptomatic Testing Information
All students must test twice the week before leaving for spring break – Monday, March 7 through Friday, March 11 – and all students must resume testing twice per week the week they return after spring break – Monday, March 21.
- Students staying on campus during spring break will also test twice during the week of spring break – Monday, March 14 through Friday, March 18. Note, the Testing Center open hours may be condensed and shortened during this time. The schedule will be communicated to all students via email prior to the start of break week.
- Students traveling during spring break are encouraged to get an external COVID test before returning to campus, but this is not required. A reminder, that if you travel for spring break you MUST resume testing twice per week the week after break. Students who traveled should go to testing on Monday (March 21) and Thursday (March 24) of the week they come back.
A reminder, that if you are traveling and you test positive for COVID at any point while away from campus, you must contact and speak to someone in Health Services prior to returning to campus. You will need to isolate off-campus.
Services Over Break
We are still finalizing all of the services that will be offered over Spring Break and we will share all of that information with students who are registered to be on campus. Please know that dining will be open for limited hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner during spring break. We will share the exact hours soon.
Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Residential Life
