This week, we will explore, what is Blackness and who defines it? Is Blackness more than skin-deep? What does it mean to “act Black” and “act white”? Join us in a brave space where we will grapple with the definition of Blackness.
Lifting Voices, Healing Spirits is a discussion space for Black self-identified students (African, African-Caribbean diaspora) to build community, learn skills to begin to navigate and heal from trauma and intergenerational trauma while empowering one another, healing our spirits, and lifting our voices.
