The Healing Power of the Drum

In honor of Indigenous People's Day and Latinx Heritage Month, artist Iréne "I-Shea'' Shaikly will teach us African-Caribbean drum techniques and rhythms in an interactive, high energy, and spiritual space to release, (re)connect, (re)claim, and rejoice in the presence of self and others. Don't own a drum? Don't worry. Use any object that can help you create rhythm! The Zoom breakout room feature will be used for small group interaction.
