Update: Fall 2023 Dis-Orientation
Hello Class of 2024,
I hope you all are well and are taking care of yourselves. I would like to thank you again for your patience and support as we worked with the President's Office to find a new date for Dis-Orientation.
We are pleased to share that we will be holding this year's Dis-Orientation next Wednesday, October 18th. The details, including timing of the event, will remain the same and the email you received earlier in the semester is included below.
Lastly, if you have concerns or questions about the rescheduled date, please contact me directly, rather than the class board. The reschedule date was selected by the President's Office and myself, with support from the class board, so I would be happy to address any concerns and feedback directly. If you have questions about the event, you're welcome to reach out to the class board email.
Thank you again! We're looking forward to orienting the Class of 2027 to this Mount Holyoke tradition!
Best,
Laura Sattler

Hello to my Mohomies!
Our first senior-specific tradition is coming up, with a huge surprise: Dis-Orientation!!! PLEASE KEEP THIS A SECRET! Super hush-hush, the frespeople cannot find out. This event has been held in Spring for the last couple years, but (with weather, logistics, and the freshyears' rapidly decreasing tolerance for anything including "orientation" in its title) we decided to host it as soon as the President was sworn in. Hence, we hope it'll be an extra-yummy surprise for them. Don't be the reason we can't have nice things >:(
Dis-o will be held on Wednesday Oct 18th. We (seniors) will rally in the amphitheater at 8:00pm, we'll stock up on speakers, noisemakers, and whatever else we find at Party Cityᵀᴹ. Once we are ready, we will disperse you into groups to go to the residence halls and rally the firstyears by walking through the hallways yelling, dancing, or whatever you want as you gather firstyears. Once you've gotten al the firsties you think you can, herd them to the amphitheater! We want all the first-years at the amphitheater at 9:00pm, where we shall sing a parody of the Alma Matter. Once the firstyears are disorientated enough from our off-tune wailing, we will march up to President Holley's house for some d e l i c i o u s cookies.
Just for housekeeping, if you know you're coming to Dis-O please fill out this (very very very short) form so we know how many people to expect and to divide you into residence halls in advance!
If you need any sort of acomodations, fill out this form! We want to make sure everyone feels included and can have fun as we hippty-hoppity all throughout this property.
If you have any questions, please ask away!
They always say "Bea, yeehaw!" but never "Bea, how yee?"
Sincerly,
Your Salacious Sexy-tary,
Bea "Danger" Rodriguez
